Thermal Receipt Paper Does Shredding Fax/thermal Paper In The Same Bin As Ordinary Paper Contaminate The Whole Batch For Recycling?

Does shredding fax/thermal paper in the same bin as ordinary paper contaminate the whole batch for recycling? - thermal receipt paper

When grinding thermal paper (such as receipts and fax paper) and plain paper, accompanied the whole batch is not contaminated so that they will not be reused? If so, what should I do, then this whole batch to throw in the garbage () instead of recycling?

It was my understanding that due to the coating on the thermal paper it would be in the same grade class as a magazine or other coated papers. That is if you are breaking down your recycling to that level.

I agree with the answer before me, but would add that it is also necessary to know what requirements your local or state for that purpose.

NJ law allows small ccontamination% of the waste for recycling. Each recycling center is individually regulated and they are assigned a percentage that can not be overcome by the rules.

A small portion of income should not prevent a lot of paper.

depending on the method of recycling or recovery operations. most contaminated, the largest recovery of recyclables.

Unfortunately, you should see the organization that they do ask the recovery, because you know if your systems to improve the waste.
